Marketing - Get picked when Google answers for your customers

Google used to send people to your website. Now it answers for them, and only a few businesses get named. Our whole job is making sure you're one of them. Our marketing services start at $2,500 per month, and we take one business per industry in each region.

What changed

The ground moved. Most of your competitors haven't noticed.

If the phone has been quieter, it might be your marketing company running plays that stopped working. Mostly, though, it is this:

Fewer clicks out of Google
30%
Of searches end without a click
68%
More people just getting directions
21%

People aren't looking you up less. They're deciding without landing on your site. They search, Google shows a map or writes an answer, and they pick someone right there.

The question used to be “how do I get people to my website?” Now it's “when Google answers for me, is my name the one it says?”

Three things matter most: your Google listing, your reviews, and whether real pages and other websites back you up. All three are winnable, and plenty of your competitors are still running the old playbook. That is the opportunity.

I'm already paying someone for this.

Ask them what they did to your Google listing last month, and which service got its own page. Good social content matters, and we put real work into ours, but on its own it's half the job. Your listing, your reviews, and a real page for every service you sell are what decide whether Google picks you, and that's the half that gets skipped.

Isn't this all about to change with AI?

Some of it already has. Google is folding Local Services Ads into Google Ads this year. You still pay per lead, still show on Search and Maps, still keep the Google Guaranteed badge. What you lose is the dashboard you could run yourself. It's a Performance Max campaign now, and that is not something to manage between jobs.

And when an AI assistant recommends a local business, it's pickier than the map. It names a fraction of the businesses Google's map will show, and the ones it names will need better reviews than average. Being good is becoming the price of admission.

The work does not change either way. A real page for every service sits near the top of what matters in ordinary local search and in getting named by AI. Same for your reviews and your listing.

I don't have time to manage a marketing company.

You shouldn't have to. A lot of marketing depends on you sending in photos and ideas, and that falls apart the week you get slammed. We plan a quarter at a time, so you're asked for very little, and we handle the rest so you can focus on what you do best. We can come out and photograph your crews at work, or make it easy to send us what you already have from your phone.

Pricing

You'll know the number on the first call.

Our marketing services start at $2,500 per month. If and where you land above that depends on how many services you want to push, how much territory your crews cover, and whether we're running your ads. You'll get the number on the first call, not after three weeks of discovery.

There's a one-time setup fee. It covers the work up front: learning your business and how customers find it, looking at what your competitors are doing, building the first campaign calendar, and getting your Google listing and ad accounts in order.

Your ad budget goes straight to Google and Facebook. We never take a percentage of your ad spend. Agencies that bill that way get a raise every time they talk you into a bigger budget. Our fee is flat, so telling you to spend less costs us nothing.

For comparison: agencies our size average $1,819 per month for SEO alone, and a full program for a home services company runs $2,500 to $10,000 per month.

One business per trade, per market.

When we take an HVAC company in a region, we turn down the next one who calls. It costs us business, and it's the only honest way to do this. We can't go all in on beating your competitor while running their campaigns too.
