Our Commitment to Accessibility

Web accessibility is fundamental to our mission at FLX Websites. We believe that websites should be usable by everyone, regardless of their abilities. We take accessibility seriously and employ multiple testing methods as part of our ongoing accessibility efforts:

Regular Automated Testing with axe-core - We regularly perform automated testing using axe-core, the industry-leading accessibility testing engine. This helps us identify and address accessibility issues during our development and maintenance processes.

Periodic Testing with WAVE - We conduct periodic testing with WAVE (Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool) by WebAIM. WAVE helps us identify accessibility issues and validate our implementation against WCAG guidelines.

Manual Accessibility Audits - We occasionally partner with AccessAbility Officer to conduct comprehensive manual audits of our websites. These expert reviews help us identify issues that automated testing might miss and ensure a genuinely accessible experience for all users.

Our Accessibility Practices for Client Websites

We strive to extend these same commitments to the client websites we build and maintain. Client websites in our actively managed portfolio generally benefit from the same regular automated accessibility testing and periodic WAVE reviews that we perform on our own properties. However, please note that FLX Websites does not control all aspects of client websites, particularly:

  • Client-provided content and media
  • Third-party integrations and plugins beyond our control
  • Third-party platforms embedded on client websites

We work with clients to identify and address accessibility issues, but cannot guarantee complete accessibility of client websites when third-party tools or client-provided content are used outside our control.

Known Limitations

While we actively work to make our websites accessible, some limitations may exist on both this site and our client websites:

  • Third-party content: Embedded elements such as videos from third-party platforms, external analytics services, or third-party widgets may have their own accessibility limitations beyond our control. We cannot guarantee the accessibility of these third-party services.
  • Older browsers: Some accessibility features may not function optimally in older browser versions or devices with limited assistive technology support.
  • User configuration: Accessibility of our websites depends partly on your device, browser settings, and installed assistive technologies. FLX Websites is not responsible for compatibility issues arising from user configurations beyond our control.
  • Dynamic content: Content that changes dynamically or in real-time may not always be fully perceivable by all assistive technologies.
